Advising parents on the choice of an appropriate senior school for their children is a continuous process throughout a child’s education at Orwell Park. For certain senior schools (e.g. Eton, Winchester) entrance and interview tests take place for children aged 10 - 11 years, and waiting lists for some schools may require early parental deliberations. The Headmaster consults all parents in their child’s Form III year (Year 5) to clarify thinking, and every effort is made to guide Orwellians to the most appropriate senior school. Over the past three years Orwell Park children have gone on to more than 30 different senior school destinations.
