Children with injuries, illness or those who just feel under the weather are cared for in a small, homely three bedded surgery area by Mrs Sheilagh Stacey, and her team.  Mrs Stacey is Senior Matron and a qualified Nurse. They are supported by two assistant matrons, Miss Dawn Lupton and Mrs Rosita Nicholls. 

The team of matrons are all highly experienced at dealing with children, especially those away from home. 

They are all competent at dealing with children with minor ailments and more significant illness such as diabetes and severe allergies.

If your child becomes ill or is injured whilst at School you will be informed  immediatly. 

Routine medications such as paracetamol may be given as required. You may wish to take your child home or for him/her to be continued to be looked after at school.

We promote good health and hygiene and encourage all children to eat well and to take plenty of fresh air and exercise.
