We welcome boarders from seven years of age. Children boarding for more than four nights/week are classified as full boarders. Children are able to stay in over the weekend by arrangement with the Boarding Housemaster.

Orwell Park School caters for full boarders, weekly boarders, part-time boarders and day pupils!  The School week operates from Monday to Saturday with many children going home to parents, friends or guardians on Saturday afternoon, returning either on Sunday evening or 8.00 a.m. Monday morning. 

ORGANISATION

·        The Boarding Housemaster coordinates the weekend activities and is always present  at bedtimes and wake up times each day.

·        The Matronal team look after the children each day and care for their needs. 

·        The Senior Matron oversees the administration of the boarding area, including the allocation of boarding spaces which are at a premium on certain nights especially Fridays! She also coordinates the running the Matronal team ensuring that care is maintained at a high level.

·        Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Due to heavy demand on certain nights, we encourage parents to book the nights they require in advance with the senior Matron.
