Orwell Park School caters day pupils, part-time boarders, weekly boarders, and full boarders. The School week operates from Monday to Saturday with many children going home to parents, friends or guardians on Saturday afternoon, returning either on Sunday evening or 8.00 a.m. Monday morning.  Every weekend there is a core of children who stay at School, and full provision is made for them with a variety of activities available.

During the term there is a Half term holiday of one week and either 1 or 2 Long Weekends when the children go home at 3.30 p.m. on the Friday returning on either Monday at 7.00 p.m. (Boarders) or Tuesday morning (Day pupils).
