Easter Cricket Camp
Open to all from Year 1 to Year 8, including those that do not attend Orwell Park.
Thursday 11th April 10am-4pm
Friday 12th April 10am-4pm
Early drop off (9-9:45am) and late pick up (4.15-5pm) available at an additional cost.
Coaching will be led by Mr Mansfield, ECB Level 3 and Suffolk CCC Coach.
£40 per day

Hockey Camp
Tuesday 9th & Wednesday 10th April, open to all school years 3-9.
Sessions on both days run from 10am until 3:30pm. Early drop off and late stay are available on both days.
£35 per day or £60 if booking both days.

Ready for Reception
Come along to our Ready for Reception morning at Orwell Park Pre-Prep.
Starting school is an exciting milestone for children and we hope that the morning will provide overall guidance and answer any questions you may have about Reception for September 2024.
We will start with talks from the Headmaster and teachers covering what we offer at Orwell Park, the Early Years curriculum and how you can help prepare your child for starting school. There will also be tours of the Pre-Prep so that you can see Reception and Years 1-2 on a typical school day.
Childcare will be available in our Nursery.

Summer Sports Camps
Join us for Summer Sports Camp at Orwell Park!
This is a multi-sport camp so it will include a range of sports (Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Golf, Basketball, Dodgeball, Tennis & Squash).

Proms in the Park - Coronation Proms
The audience is invited to picnic in the park whilst being serenaded by enchanting music. As evening falls, Handmade Opera’s fabulous singers and orchestra perform two stunning comic operas on the floodlit stage with the Orwell Estuary at twilight providing an atmospheric backdrop. It is the chance to indulge in the perfect mix of alfresco eating and open-air music plus joining in with a family favourites singalong.
The first half will be the Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta ‘Cox and Box’, performed by professional opera company Handmade Opera, with the choruses sung by children from Years 3 to 6 and Chapel Choir.
The second half will be a range of British classics old and new, with great singalongs such as ‘Rule Britannia’ and ‘Land of Hope and Glory’, amongst other favourites. The School choirs will also sing a Beatles medley, arranged and conducted by Orwell Park’s Director of Music, Tom Stapleton.
Gates open at 4.45pm and close at 9.00pm. Guests are invited to bring their own picnics, rugs and seating. There will also be onsite food and drink stalls providing ‘fizz and finger food’.
In the event of rain, the event will move indoors.

Year 2 to Year 3 - Open Morning
A session to learn more about transitioning from Pre-Prep to the Middle School, come along to the North Hall for coffee followed by an introduction to the Prep School by Mr Brown in the Orangery.
Our Year 8 prefects will give you a tour of the Prep School, including the boarding house followed by discussions with the Head of Middle School, Helen Carrington, about a typical Year 3 timetable and to answer any questions you may have.
Children are always more than welcome to join in on this event, follow the link in the letter you will have received to sign up for the Open Morning.
Reception Class - Parent Information Session
The time is fast approaching to secure your child’s Reception class space for September 2023.
You are invited to our upcoming parent information session introducing the Reception class and the Pre-Prep at Orwell Park School.
We will have an information session led by Sarah Skillern and Vikki Wiggins, followed by tours of the Pre-Prep classrooms offering the opportunity to meet the teachers and see the school in action. Find out and familiarise yourself with events for children joining Reception class in 2023.
We can’t wait to show you around the School and share all that Pre-Prep has to offer!
