Military and NHS Families
Orwell Park is at its core a traditional boarding school and so it has become an obvious choice for military families. Not only is our academic provision outstanding but our strong family ethos and focus on pastoral care is something that attracts families from far and wide, please see further information on our Military Families page.
Orwell Park welcomes the children of those working for the NHS and we are happy to consider a bursary application from such families.
Bursaries
We have a limited number of Bursary Awards available to candidates of high academic or all-round ability for families who could not otherwise afford the school fees. These awards are means-tested and reviewed on an annual basis.

Additional Charges
Nursery
Nursery fees remain exempt from VAT, so no change from Autumn term fees.
Nursery Sessions
Early Start: 8am – 8:30am
Morning Session: 8:30am – 11:30am
Lunch: 11:30am – 12:30pm
Afternoon Session: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Late Stay: 3:30pm – 5pm
Funded Sessions for Nursery Pupils 2025
Orwell Park School participates in the government funded childcare scheme to a limit of 15 hours funded provision per week for 3 & 4 year olds attending the school's Nursery. Funding is offered from the start of the term after a child's third birthday. The school does not offer funded hours for 2 year olds.
