A new initiative for the Orwell Park extra-curricular activities programme this year is the opportunity for the children in Years 7&8 to take part in building a road-going kit car.

Thanks to a grant from the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage, donations from our community and the support of the Orwell Astronomical Society of Ipswich (OASI), the Orwell Park Observatory has reopened to visitors following mandated closures owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last night saw our annual Parents vs. Staff cricket match take place at Orwell Park on our beautiful 1st XIs pitch.
