A huge thankyou to JM Finn, our new 1st team cricket shirt sponsor. Our boys and girls 1st XI teams were proud to wear their fantastic new shirts in their matches against OBH yesterday afternoon.

Last night’s Tuesday Orangery Lecture Pythagoras: Hero or Villain,  featured Katherine Hanharan, Housemistress of Constables at Uppingham School. A large audience grappled with maths problems, as well as learning more about the man himself and the times in which he lived.

25 leading local and national senior schools attended the biennial Senior Schools Fayre at OPS  on Saturday. There were pleasing numbers of parents from all year groups, as well as some very excited pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8, who enjoyed talking to Registrars and Heads throughout the morning.

On 19th & 20th April, Gracie in Year 6 spent two days at Lord's Indoor Cricket School where she had individual coaching after being awarded the Cliff Piper Memorial Scholarship by Suffolk Cricket earlier this year. She enjoyed a great two days, including a tour of the ground and museum.

On Sunday, Oscar Burnett-Hall, Theo Harris-Page and Matthew Walker represented the school at the Eastern Region Snowsports Association Schools' Ski Race in Norwich. The boys performed really well and finished 4th in the U10 team event.

There was much excitement on Friday morning as we tried on our new robes. They get their first public outing at whole school chapel on Thursday.

Congratulations to Evie in Year 6, who has won the Junior category in a nationwide creative writing competition run by the Classical Association.

Our Spring Concert showed off the fantastic variety of musical groups and tuition available at Orwell Park, and of course the amazing talent of our pupils. Take a look at a snapshot of their performances!

Now we are fully in the swing of the Spring term, the Year 7s have been designing modernist buildings and built architectural models of their designs. Take a look at some of their incredible creations!

Twenty-seven bold Y7s (and four members of staff) braved the Beowulf Camp in late January. With temperatures set to drop to -3° overnight, their resilience was sure to be tested…

Gymnastics star Aniya was invited to attend the Great Britain Espoir squad last weekend. This was an intensive 3-day squad being trained by the best coaches and physios in the country. Olympic gymnast Becky Downie made a surprise appearance and trained alongside them!

A huge well done to Gracie who has received a Cricket Coaching Scholarship from the Cliff Piper Memorial Fund, setup by Suffolk County Cricket Association, after being nominated by her county coaches.
