Chapel Choir were joined by The Orwell Park Choral Society, and soloists Anita Monserrat and Tom Stapleton (Orwell’s own Director of Music) for a choral concert in the stunning setting of the Orangery, featuring the beautiful Faure’sRequiemandFeel the Spiritby John Rutter.
British mezzo-soprano Anita Monserrat is currently in the second year of her Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music. Earlier in the afternoon she took part in a singing master class for the members of Chapel Choir, focusing on projection and diction.
It was wonderful to be able to perform all together again, and in front of a live audience, and we are already looking forward to our Summer concert!
