Setting Your Child Up for Success

We provide a warm, vibrant setting where children feel safe to challenge themselves, discover new passions, and achieve their best. Our holistic approach prepares pupils not just for school, but for life. We provide a dynamic academic environment where children are encouraged to question, explore, and strive for excellence. Through high-quality teaching and a broad curriculum, Orwell Park Prep equips pupils with strong core foundations and the intellectual curiosity to excel in the next stage of their education.

Early Years - Nursery

At Orwell Park, we aim to make our Early Years provision clear, transparent, and supportive for families. Nursery children benefit from our high‑quality Early Years curriculum, specialist teaching, and access to our beautiful grounds, all included within the core fees.

Each child is supported by an alocated Key Person, the main point of contact between Nurery and home. We work in close partnership with families to support every child to feel safe, secure and happy.

Our early focus on academics, with our accredited phonics scheme delivered by trained staff, ensures children are exceptionally well prepared for Reception. Our knowledgeable staff design rich learning opportunities to ensure children are developing the skills they need to become independent learners.

Government Funding

Orwell Park accepts Early Years Funding, available from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday, in line with current government guidance. Eligible families can use this funding to reduce Nursery fees (not available in Reception).  We offer 15 hours funding. Further information can be found on the official GOV.UK website: https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-3-to-4-year-olds

Our admissions team is always on hand to explain available funding and help families understand how it may support them.
