Parents’ Association

The Orwell Park Parents' Association (OPPA) plays a vibrant and valued role at the heart of school life. Made up of dedicated parent volunteers, OPPA helps to strengthen the strong sense of community at Orwell Park by organising events, supporting school initiatives and bringing families together throughout the year.

From social gatherings and fundraising activities to warmly welcoming new families, OPPA works in partnership with the school to enrich the experience of every child. Their energy and support help make Orwell Park the warm, united and inclusive community our families cherish.

Our Governors

Orwell Park is under the Governance of Benenden School. Orwell retains its individual identity within the Benenden Council and has a dedicated committee led by a designated Chair.

The OPS Committee meets termly, ahead of the Benenden General Council Meeting, to look at safeguarding, teaching and learning, pupil welfare, finance, school development and other matters. Sub committees of staff and Governors feed into the OPS Committee and focus on best practice and quality assurance.
