The Benenden Family of Schools

Celebrating our Partnership with Benenden

Orwell Park is proud to be part of the Benenden Family of Schools, through which it enjoys a close and mutually supportive partnership with Benenden School, one of the world's leading boarding schools.

Our family comprises a small group of highly regarded schools who put education at the very heart of everything they do. Our schools run themselves and maintain their own identity, coming together to benefit from the shared expertise and partnership opportunities of a group structure.

The Benenden Family of Schools is a partnership that brings significant advantages for the children at Orwell Park and we are extremely excited for the future opportunities.

Orwell Park joined the Benenden family in early 2026 and has already benefited in a wide range of areas, including:

Wellbeing Teacher talks and laughs with students

Partnership Working

Naturally, the children are always our top priority and we are determined that they benefit directly from the additional expertise that comes from Orwell being part of a group. Partnerships have involved pupil exchanges, collaborative projects and expert staff running specialist sessions for pupils in areas such as art, sport, drama and music.

Sharing Best Practice

Our schools are experts in what we do. We share our knowledge and best practice with others in the family so that we are all continually improving and delivering the finest possible education for our pupils.

Greater Operational Capacity

Being part of a group brings advantages in operational functions, with Orwell benefiting in areas such as IT infrastructure, greater economies of scale and improvements to facilities.

‘‘It has been an honour to get to know the wonderful Orwell Park community over the past twelve months. We are delighted by the strength of the relationship that has developed and by the opportunities that the partnership has already created for pupils and staff.’’
