The Queen Remembered

As a school community we are saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with all members of the Royal Family in this time of national mourning.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II leaves behind a remarkable legacy, having ruled for longer than any other monarch in British history, and her faithful leadership, selfless service and voice of reassurance throughout her seventy-year reign will be remembered by generations.

She wholly embodied our School values of integrity, kindness, collaboration, courage, spirit, and respect.

We will join with the rest of the nation in acts of remembrance and tribute to Her Majesty’s life of service in the coming days. On Saturday 10th September we will be holding a service in St Martin’s Church led by Rev. Canon Ian Wilson for those pupils in school.

When life seems hard, the courageous do not lie down and accept defeat; instead, they are all the more determined to struggle for a better future
