This term, we were delighted to officially open our new OrWellbeing Hub – a dedicated space designed to support pupils' wellbeing, learning and personal development.
Made possible through investment from Benenden School following Orwell Park's move into the Benenden Family of Schools, the Hub reflects our shared commitment to ensuring every child feels supported, confident and ready to thrive.
The calm and welcoming space brings together key pastoral and learning support services, including the Life Skills Classroom, Learning Enrichment Centre and a new Day Surgery staffed by mental health-trained nurses.
It will be used for one-to-one and small-group support, wellbeing activities, mentoring, parent engagement and staff training.
The Hub will also play a central role in our termly OrWellbeing Days, where pupils explore the Five Ways to Wellbeing through engaging activities that promote resilience, confidence and positive mental health.
The opening of the OrWellbeing Hub marks an exciting step forward in strengthening the exceptional pastoral care at the heart of an Orwell Park education, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our school community for years to come.
